{"id":716,"date":"2019-09-05T12:29:44","date_gmt":"2019-09-05T17:29:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/avpacad\/?p=716"},"modified":"2019-09-05T12:29:44","modified_gmt":"2019-09-05T17:29:44","slug":"chaos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/avpacad\/chaos\/","title":{"rendered":"Chaos!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chaos!\u00a0 Or, more exactly, ACCHaoS!<\/p>\n<p>The latest episode of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GgwIuVhqP60\">Academic Transfer in Focus<\/a> is about an outreach program in our Physics Department that they call ACCHaoS.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/physics\/acchaos\/\">ACCHaoS<\/a> is apparently a physics joke in addition to standing for &#8220;hands-on science&#8221;.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a traveling show that our Physics faculty takes to various elementary schools, libraries, and other gathering spaces.
