We don’t recommend taking more than one micro-credential at a time, as an opt-in student<\/i>, unless: you have a lot of free time, prior knowledge of the content, and you have taken a DFI micro-credential before this one.<\/p>

Although our micro-credentials are fun and engaging, they are also packed full of content. You want to allow yourself enough time to fully benefit from the learning materials.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The micro-credentials are offered in 5-week sessions, two times a semester and once in the summer.<\/p>

For maximum success, we recommend that students follow the recommended schedule provided for that micro-credential<\/b>. Students who wait until the final weekend before the end of the session to do the bulk of the work often find they don’t have enough time to complete all the content, and\/or they don’t have the time to truly engage and absorb the material.<\/p>

It is not possible to register for a micro-credential after enrollment closes. However, if you miss the deadline for the current session, you can enroll in the next session<\/strong>.<\/p>

The micro-credentials are non-credit but stack to one of four micro-certificates<\/strong>. Each micro-certificate equates to a credit course<\/strong> in Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT).\u00a0<\/p>
