March saw the addition of <strong>two new micro-credentials \u2013 Data Analytics and Problem Solving with AI<\/strong> \u2013 bringing the total to eleven micro-credentials developed out of the original 16 outlined in the QEP plan. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In an effort to provide the best student experience, editing of existing micro-credentials is ongoing, with Word Processing getting the most attention in March. <strong>Almost all opt-in sections for Spring Session #2 filled up<\/strong>, including two sections offered for Spreadsheets. <strong>Three students were awarded a DFI micro-certificate<\/strong>, each of which is equivalent to a credit course in CSIT. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Outreach efforts extended to Liberal Arts, Bioscience Incubator, and Engineering Technology.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-57e8e9c7 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"57e8e9c7\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9b6904 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9b6904\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Highlights<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-360b549 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"360b549\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Outreach<\/b><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">New sign created to display on digital signs throughout the district.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">March 1, Info Session for Faculty Advising for Liberal Arts Professional Development<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">March 19, Met with Misty Rasmussen and Missy Patterson for a QEP update.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">March 22, Met with Nancy Lyons of the ACC Bioscience Incubator to discuss micro-credentials.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">March 22, Met with Anisha Morgan in the registrar&#8217;s office to continue discussion of assigning credit for micro-credentials\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">March 25, Met with Victor Villavicencio to embed the Spreadsheets micro-credential into the summer course of ELMT 2372 &#8211; Energy Efficient Structures and Assessment.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Micro-Credentials\u00a0<\/b><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Problem Solving with AI and Data Analytics micro-credential development finished, along with quizzes and rubrics,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and loaded into the LMS.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Additional edits\/improvements made to the Word Processing micro-credential.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rubrics added to the Spreadsheets micro-credential.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Problem Solving with AI and Data Analytics micro-credentials have been added to Suitable for badging.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">133 badges awarded for Spring Session #1.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Three students obtained micro-certificates, which also gave the learners credit for a course in CSIT.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Data<\/b><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Spring session #2 saw almost all opt-in micro-credentials fill up.
