Celebrating 40 Years<\/a><\/h3>\nForty years ago this month, ACC opened its doors to some 1,700 students seeking an affordable, quality education. Nine campuses and hundreds of thousands of students later, the college is commemorating its past and celebrating its future at a special event.<\/p>\n
Elgin Campus Welcomes Students<\/a><\/h3>\nAs students entered sparkling new classrooms, hundreds from the Elgin and ACC communities gathered for a ceremonial dedication of ACC’s ninth campus, including Texas A&M Chancellor John Sharp and state Sen. Transfer Week Helps Students Jump-Start Plans <\/a><\/h3>\nMore than half of ACC students intend to transfer to a university to continue their education. ACC’s first ever Transfer Week offers an array of workshops and events to help them prepare.<\/p>\n
