ACCelerator attracts White House visitors<\/a><\/h3>\nA shared passion for student success was evident when second lady (and community college professor) Dr. Jill Biden and Education Under Secretary Dr. Ted Mitchell met with administrators, faculty, staff, and students at the Highland Campus.<\/p>\n
From the Provost<\/a><\/h3>\nEach month Dr. Charles Cook shares information and insight about important academic initiatives, beginning with highlights from the annual Achieving the Dream conference and the recent Regional Workforce Summit.<\/p>\n
Mandatory student success course planned<\/a><\/h3>\nMost first-time-in-college students will be required to take a new success course beginning this fall. Planning is underway.<\/p>\n
Library Services tutorials earn recognition<\/a><\/h3>\nFew community colleges have had work selected for the PRIMO national research database. Thanks to Library Services, ACC is one of them.<\/p>\n
Fairway 5k raises more than $3k for scholarships<\/a><\/h3>\nMore than 150 faculty, staff, students, and friends braved wet and chilly weather at the inaugural Fairway 5k. Check out photos from the morning.<\/p>\n
