THE SENATE STANDARD – ISSUE\u00a018<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Dear Faculty Colleagues,<\/p>\n

This week\u2019s Senate Standard is short and sweet because I am prepping for my class. (Who procrastinates??? Not me!) I hope the beginning of your semester is going well, whether that means course prep or other tasks.<\/p>\n

The students are back \u2013 and that means we are in full swing, people! Get out there and enjoy it!\u00a0Maybe I’ll get to see you at this Friday\u2019s Senate meeting. It is a great way to start off the year.<\/p>\n

Senate Meetings \/ Minutes \/ Agendas<\/h2>\n

12\/13\/19 Senate Meeting \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0minutes\u00a0<\/a>are now available, and will be posted online soon.<\/p>\n

1\/15\/20 Senate Leadership and Provost Meeting<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The\u00a0agenda\u00a0<\/a>for this meeting is now available and posted on the website.<\/p>\n

1\/24\/20 Senate Meeting \u2013 noon to 2pm \u2013 HBC 301<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The\u00a0draft agenda<\/a>\u00a0for this meeting is now available. Please join us for lunch and development credit if you are able!<\/p>\n

Newsworthy<\/h2>\n

The Academic Master Planning (AMP)<\/strong>\u00a0process began January 15 with two meetings. You can now watch a\u00a0recording of the first<\/a>\u00a0of those two meetings. Area of Study teams will be forming soon, and you can learn more on the\u00a0AMP website<\/a>. Reach out to your department chair or dean if you want to be a part of your Area of Study team!<\/p>\n

As mentioned in the last Standard, the ACC Foundation has ONE APPLICATION for all 700 scholarships they offer our students. Applications are open now, so please let your students know about them. There is help to complete the applications available at every ACCelerator. Students can view\u00a0THIS PAGE<\/a>\u00a0to get the application, and help to apply.<\/p>\n
