Looks like those dog days of summer have arrived.  Just a few important events and activities I want to draw your attention to in this edition.  First, we continue to solicit faculty volunteers to serve on our shared government councils and committees and the Senate standing committees.  See the announcement and volunteer link as the first item in Newsworthy<\/strong> below. Also, an administrative rule regarding the employee grievance process is open for faculty comments.  See the New Action Items<\/strong> section below to find links to that document. Back in 2018, TLED embarked on a comprehensive review and revision of the official Faculty Handbook.  A draft is now available for faculty commentary and feedback.  Go to New Action Items<\/strong> below to find the links to the draft where you can let your thoughts be known!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Call for Shared Governance and Senate Standing Committee Volunteers [Deadline:  5:00P Friday, July 18]:<\/strong> ACC\u2019s shared governance structure<\/a> and various committees<\/a> are the primary ways ACC Full-Time Faculty can have a significant voice in college policies and procedures, budgets and technology allocations, and all the other decisions that go into running the college.  Here is your chance to let your voice be heard as a volunteer on one or more of the various shared governance and senate committees.
