Orientation
- When: Monday, January 23, 2023, 8:30 a.m. – 12 noon
- Where: CEC Campus (classroom TBD)
- What to bring: Access to Syllabi signature page for RNSG 2213 and RNSG 2160 (found in Blackboard), access to class material found in course and clinical Blackboard sites, access to course calendar (posted on Blackboard), Psychiatric Nursing textbook (see below).
- Orientation will be followed by Module 1 (Concepts of Mental Health Nursing) and lab on Therapeutic Communication.

Skills Labs
- When & Where: Integrated with lectures or last 45 minutes of class in classroom. Refer to Lab tab on Blackboard for specifics.
- What to bring: No special attire is required.
Exams
There will be three unit exams and a comprehensive final exam, fifty questions each.
- When: See the course calendar for specific dates and times for exams.
- Where: On campus in computer lab (room TBD)
- Mental Health HESI Exams are given.
Clinical Schedule
- When: Our clinical settings will be at an area hospital on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday (specifics will be announced). Rotation 1 Clinical begins week of January 16, 2023.
- Where: TBD
- What to bring: Prior to attending clinical, students must complete hospital orientation materials. Hospital Orientation Packets will be covered during orientation.
