• Orientation will be followed by Module 1 (Concepts of Mental Health Nursing) and lab on Therapeutic Communication.

• When & Where: Integrated with lectures or last 50 minutes of class in classroom. Refer to Lab tab on Blackboard for specifics.

There will be three unit exams and a comprehensive final exam..

• Mental Health ATI Exams are given.

• When: Our clinical settings will be at an area hospital on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday (specifics will be announced). Rotation 1 Clinical begins the week of August 26, 2024.

• What to bring: Prior to attending clinical, students must complete hospital orientation materials. Hospital Orientation Packets will be covered during orientation.
