To be eligible for the Cardiovascular Interventional (CI) Radiology Advanced Technical Certificate program, the student must meet the required\u00a0Technical Standards<\/a>\u00a0as well as\u00a0one<\/b> of the following criteria:<\/p>\n

  1. Must carry a primary current certification in Radiology R.T.(R)(ARRT)\u00a0<\/strong>OR be registry eligible. A Texas Medical Board license is also required for Declared Students only. See Application Option section below for a definition of Declared Applicant. Both R.T.(R) certification and Texas Medical Board License must be obtained by the academic withdrawal date of the Fall semester or be withdrawn from the program.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Must be a diagnostic medical imaging student in the final semester of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
    \n<\/strong>Candidates must:(1) submit with their application a letter on school letterhead from their Program Director stating they are a student in good standing (not on academic probation or currently involved in progressive disciplinary action) and expected date of graduation and(2) pass their Radiography registry prior to the academic withdrawal date of the Fall semester or be withdrawn from the program.<\/li>\n
  3. Candidates must:<\/strong><\/strong>(1) submit with their application a letter on school letterhead from their Program Director stating they are a student in good standing (not on academic probation or currently involved in progressive disciplinary action) and expected date of graduation and(2) pass their Radiography registry prior to the academic withdrawal date of the Fall semester, or be withdrawn from the program.<\/li>\n
  4. Out-of-state and Undeclared Applicants (see Application Option below for definition of Undeclared Applicant) are only required to have their R.T. (R) by the academic withdrawal date of the Fall semester or be withdrawn from the program.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Activate your ACC\u00a0email account.\u00a0All correspondence regarding your application will be sent to your ACC email address<\/b>. For information on how to set up your ACC email account, please see\u00a0this page<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. Review and complete the Cardiovascular Interventional Technology Information Session<\/a>. Print and keep the confirmation email at the end of the session.<\/li>\n
    3. Review the Credentialing Process<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    4. Unofficial copies of transcripts other than ACC (Official transcripts must be submitted to ACC Admissions and Records)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      [\/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”For DECLARED applicants”]A\u00a0declared<\/b> student is a registered or registry-eligible radiologic technologist who is seeking ARRT post-primary certification for Cardiac Interventional Radiography. The declared student is not\u00a0<\/b>currently employed in this specialty and needs both the didactic and clinical education components arranged by ACC to complete their ARRT post-primary application. The declared student will be enrolled in both the didactic and clinical components of the program. The Advanced Technical Certificate is only awarded if both the didactic and clinical courses outlined in the degree plan are successfully completed. A change in enrollment status at any point during the program will nullify the earning of the Advanced Technical Certificate in the discipline. Declared students will be eligible to enroll in the four didactic courses and two clinical courses.<\/p>\n
