In alignment with Austin Community College\u2019s mission statement, the Allied Health Sciences Department is structured to love and promote student success by offering equitable access and affordable education through a variety of ALHS courses that support and strengthen those students who are are engaged in one or more of the following activities:<\/p>\n
ALHS courses provide opportunities for equal access and support to students by offering courses in the traditional classroom setting, hybrid format, and through national Quality Matters (QM)-certified distance education.<\/p>\n
In keeping with ACC’s values (Care, Compassion, Joy and Yes), all ALHS courses and formats address important student learning elements that support all students of the College. Our courses are designed to foster student persistence and retention, student satisfaction, student engagement, and student success. The ALHS Department is composed of stellar faculty, who participate in ongoing professional development, and are highly committed to the academic success of their students through the utilization of educational best practices and maintaining a sustainable, safe, and healthy environment for their students.
