Constitution Day will be Sept. 23rd at 6:00pm in Palmer Events Center with David Lauderback representing the Department. <\/p>\n
The Faculty Senate accomplished a number of important things last year under Terry\u2019s leadership and she was thanked for an outstanding job. <\/p>\n
The Student Historical Society has again been recognized by Student Services and will meet under Melissa Bonafont\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n
The Department of History unanimously elected Dr. Charles Cook, the Provost of the College, historian, and former Professor of History at Houston Community College, as an honorary member of the Department with the rights to attend our meetings and vote on all issues.<\/p>\n
The Department sincerely hopes that he will become a regular member of the Department by teaching a History course with us as an Adjunct Faculty member. <\/p>\n
