1. The History Department presented its Distinguished Service Award to Dr. David M. Lauderback for his outstanding & honorable service as Dean of Social & Behavioral Sciences in 2017.<\/p>\n
2. The History Department welcomed its new members: Holly Fuller, Jody Ginn, Brendan Larimore, and Rachael Ozanne.<\/p>\n
3. The usual announcements were made concerning checking class rosters, turning in fall syllabi, watching for ADA & SHT compliance dates, and entering the last date of attendance on the final grade sheet for students earning a \u201cF\u201d in classes.<\/p>\n
4. The College implemented required Cyber Security training that MUST be completed by September 30th. The on-line tutorial is found on the Professional Development Workshop website.<\/p>\n
5. All students certified as \u201cNever Attended\u201d will automatically be withdrawn from the course and not appear on the final grade sheet.<\/p>\n
6. Official reporting dates for fall roster certification are: August 31 (5 week course); September 5 (1st 8 week courses); September 13 (16 week courses); October 5 (12 week courses); and October 30 (2nd 8 week courses.)<\/p>\n
7. The Emeritus Professors Lectures, featuring Dr. Douglas Brinkley, will be held in the spring semester 2018.<\/p>\n
8. Constitution Day will be September 26, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in Palmer Events Center.<\/p>\n
9. The Faculty Core Values Workshops will be held on most ACC campuses during the fall semester 2017.<\/p>\n
