After having a baby right out of high school and then marrying and having three more children, I thought that college was out of the question for me. My husband and I felt like it was more of a priority for him to go through school than me, but my desire to go to college never dwindled. I looked into ACC and was so excited to find all the options of class styles, times and locations that were offered. ACC seemed to be as flexible as I needed a college to be with four kids. Some semesters I just took online classes and some I took both online and went into class. Some were in the morning and some at night, but it was never a huge burden. Although it still hasn’t been easy, I will graduate with an associate in Business Administration in May with almost a 4.0 GPA and can hopefully transfer to UT in the fall. This is only possible because the high priority I set on getting my degree and the flexibility and guidance offered through ACC. This 31-year old mom of 4 has such a strong sense of accomplishment that I never thought was possible 3 years ago. ACC helps make what seems impossible, actually possible!
