The 2017 CSO Summit: Community Colleges as Drivers for Regional Economic Development was held at ACC on April 7-8. The summit was hosted by AC2 Regional Bio-Link<\/a>, Bio-Link<\/a>, and ACC’s Bioscience Incubator, and featured discussions on how community colleges can pursue biotech activities that make a difference in local and national economies. The summit was attended by community college leaders from throughout the country. Dr. Edgar Trout<\/a>, Assistant Dean, Long Island University<\/a>, kicked off the summit with a presentation on integrating business decision making in biosciences courses.
