Gem Capers happens every year in the Fall, and is organized by the Austin Gem & Mineral Society.

The ACC Jewelry Department will have a booth with freebies, fun and educational demonstrations, and lots of great info about our program. Come visit us and learn a thing or three!

Past Events

We are excited to welcome Tiffany & Michael Budd to Austin Community College as guest artists! They are visiting all the way from Ireland, and are eager to share their specialty skills with our community of teachers and students.

Tiffany is a goldsmith with over 25 years of jewelry making experience, specializing in jewelry with a 3 dimensional feel. Michael is a blacksmith with over 35 years of metalworking experience, specializing in unique contemporary metal sculptures. Together they will be giving a talk and sharing a glimpse into their creative process and mindset as artists.
