\u2022<\/strong> To enroll in our credit Jewelry program, you must first go through Austin Community College’s admissions process<\/strong><\/a>. This usually involves submitting transcripts from other schools you may have attended. Alternatively, if you do not care about earning college credits or an award, you can enroll for any of our classes as Continuing Education (see below).<\/p>\n \u2022<\/strong> If you have never taken college level classes or completed an approved assessment exam before, you may need to complete the TSI Assessment. For details, check the TSI Assessment<\/a><\/strong>, TSI Prep<\/a><\/strong>, and Developmental Education<\/a><\/strong> pages.<\/p>\n \u2022<\/strong> Even if you are not otherwise eligible to enroll in college level classes, you may be eligible to enroll in and complete our Jewelry Level 1 Certificate. Contact Admissions<\/a><\/strong> for more details, and mention the TSI waiver for approved certificate programs.<\/p>\n \u2022<\/strong> Once you are eligible to enroll in classes, check for Jewelry classes under the current schedule<\/a><\/strong>, and decide which classes to take. We recommend starting with Jewelry Techniques 1, Jewelry Casting 1, and Drawing for Jewelry Design.<\/p>\n \u2022<\/strong> Check registration dates<\/strong><\/a> and mark your calendar. Class sizes are limited, and can fill quickly! If the class you want is full, get on the waitlist.<\/p>\n \u2022<\/strong> Don’t forget to pay before the associated tuition deadline<\/a><\/strong>. Students who do not pay by the deadline will be dropped, and their seat will become available on a first-come-first-served basis to those on the waitlist.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u2022 Continuing Education: <\/p>\n \u2022 Looking for class pricing information?<\/strong> Check ACC’s tuition table<\/a><\/strong> for current rates. You may also be eligible for one or more scholarships<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u2022 Are you getting any errors during the online enrollment process?<\/strong>\u00a0Sometimes the system errors are false flags and are actually errors themselves, and don’t necessarily prevent you from continuing the enrollment process. You may be able to click past them and still enroll without issue.<\/p>\n \u2022 Are you 65 or older?<\/strong>\u00a0You can receive a senior citizen tuition exemption for up to 6 credits per semester, meaning you could take one jewelry class for free each semester.
