As Austin’s real estate market flourishes, so do the opportunities for real estate professionals to make good money. Thanks to Austin Community College, training to become a real estate agent has never been easier.

ACC now offers three core real estate courses required for the Texas Real Estate Sales License Exam online: Principles of Real Estate, Real Estate Contracts, and Law of Agency.

“We offered these courses online as a test during the 2005 Spring Semester and they proved to be a huge success” said Phylis Molina, one of ACC’s Real Estate instructors for this innovative delivery system.

“These online courses are ideal for those who reside in surrounding communities or for those who can not attend a classroom on a regular basis,” said Nick Sarantakes, Real Estate Department chair.

The online real estate courses are offered during the fall, spring and summer sessions. Although textbooks must be purchased, all other activities are on the Internet, and students may work at their own pace. Financial aid is available for these courses.
