Kids’ Summer Programs at ACC Offer Culture, Know-How and Fun

Austin, TX – March 6, 2006 – This summer, the only thing local kids may not like about hip-hop dancing, gaming, interior design and CPR is that they can’t be done at the same time.

The Austin Community College (ACC) Continuing Education (CE) Division has offered youth programs for several years with continued success. “ACC serves a unique role in the region, and our kids’ programs provide unique opportunities,” said Bob McGoldrick, founder of ACC’s Video Game Development program. “It’s a fun and inexpensive alternative to doing the same old thing every summer.”

The summer 2006 kids’ programs at ACC are:

Gaming Camps for Teens
Webmaster for Kids
Intro to Keyboarding (for pre-teens)
Online Medical Transcription for College-Bound Teens (16 hour)
