ACC’s Bistro 3158 Serves up Adventure in International Cuisine

AUSTIN – Don’t just go out to dinner, have an adventure. Come join Austin Community College’s Bistro 3158 as they delight your palate and your eyes and ears with music and performances to spice up your culinary experience. Bistro 3158 is one of the most unique dining experiences in Austin. The students of the Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management and Meeting & Event Planning programs are the soul behind this unmatched full-service fine dining restaurant who this year is celebrating its fifth season.

Starting Oct. 31st, each dining experience on selected Thursdays throughout the semester will feature cooking up international cuisine from Medieval England to Russia, Rome, and France. Music and performances from each of these countries will transform your dining experience with themes, such as a Night at Camelot, To Russia with Love, Hail Caesar!, Murder on the Orient Express, and Pair-a-Dice in Las Vegas.

“We just wanted to make a change and incorporate our meeting and planning students into the Bistro,” says Virginia Stipp Lawrence, program coordinator for Hospitality Management and Meeting & Event Management. Each dinner is an event with exciting themes that will make our guests’ mouths water.”
