WHAT: Austin Community College Commencement Ceremony

Background: Austin, TX – Austin Community College is graduating 688 eligible students at its 31 st Commencement on Thursday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at the Frank C. Erwin Center. Also honored that evening, are winners of the Full-Time Faculty Teaching Award and the Adjunct Faculty Teaching Award.

Prospective graduates will be shown a short video celebrating ACC’s more than 30 years of helping local residents achieve their educational goals and improve their lives.

Mayor Gus Garcia, an original ACC Board Member, will deliver the convocation address, which includes a retrospective glance of the college, as well as a glimpse into the rewarding future awaiting ACC graduates.
