ACC FINANCIAL AID FAIR

WHO: Austin Community College Financial Aid Fair is open to all people interested in higher education and scholarships, loans, grants, WorkStudy, and Federal assistance.

WHAT: Financial Aid Fair. ACC staff will answer questions about financial aid and the process of applying for financial assistance. Student loan companies will be on hand. The MERV bus (Mobile Education Resource Center) will be there to help students file online for the Federal Application for Student Aid.

WHEN / WHERE: Monday, February 9, 2004, 10-6 at ACC’s Eastview Campus, 3401 Webberville Rd. In the courtyard.
Tuesday, February 10, 2004, 10-6 at ACC’s Riverside Campus, 1020 Grove Blvd. Follow the signs.

WHY: Almost all occupations now require education of some kind beyond high school. Health care workers must be highly trained. Mechanics and construction workers are using computers and new technology. Managers and sales people need business knowledge. A degree in any field shows employers a willingness to learn and excel.

PLEASE BRING: Your driver’s license and social security number, your last federal Income Tax Return (or your parent’s if you a re a dependent), documentation of any other taxed/untaxed income (like Social Security benefits, Child Support, worker’s comp. etc.)
