ACC Receives ‘Clean’ Audit

Austin Community College District once again receives an external audit with no findings.
The Texas Higher Education code requires each public community/junior college to be audited by independent certified public accountants in accordance with the approved system developed by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The audit gives ACC an unqualified (“clean”) opinion, assuring the Board that financial statements present the District’s position fairly as of August 31, 2006, and that applicable accounting and auditing standards were performed.
ACC President Dr. Stephen Kinslow acknowledges the Business Office staff, Internal Audit, Purchasing staff and college supervisors for helping ACC do well as an institution, and honoring the college’s commitment to the public.
