Austin Community College’s Center for Public Policy and Political Studies (CPPPS) is an externally funded, nonprofit organization dedicated to informing, educating, and encouraging student, faculty, and community participation in political and public policy processes. Further benefits for students include development of leadership skills, and the opportunity to participate in public policy research.

Launched in January, CPPPS is headed by Director Peck Young, who has more than 30 years’ experience in public affairs as well as state and national campaigns. CPPPS is located in the Government and Community Relations office on the fourth floor of the Highland Business Center.
