The Austin Community College District joins with Ten Thousand Villages to benefit scholarships for international business students at ACC.
The event featuring international handicrafts, music, drinks, and food will be held April 26 from 5 to 9 p.m. at 1317 South Congress Ave.
Ten Thousand Villages, run almost entirely by volunteers, is a nonprofit organization providing income to people in developing countries by selling their crafts and telling their stories.
A portion of all sales will go to the ACC Foundation for scholarships benefiting students majoring in international business. ACC has a challenge grant matching up to $1,000 of monies raised.
