Honor student Ruby Becerra has been selected from nearly 1,600 nominations to the prestigious All-USA Academic third team for community and junior colleges.
A formal announcement was made Monday, April 16, at the Phi Theta Kappa Presidents Breakfast held during the American Association of Community College’s annual convention in Tampa, Fla.
Phi Theta Kappa designed a special medallion for Becerra, which was mailed to the college earlier this month.
