Austin, TX – October 5, 2007 – U.S. Under Secretary of Education Sara Martinez Tucker will visit the Austin Community College District to meet with college students at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, in Room 502 of the Highland Business Center, 5930 Middle Fiskville Rd.

Tucker’s visit is part of her national tour to hear directly from college students about the challenges they face in gaining access to and succeeding in higher education. Discussions will also focus on available federal student financial aid and new initiatives the Department of Education has launched for students nationwide.
