M.K. Hage Jr., one of the founding board members at Austin Community College, has died at age 82.

Hage was among community members who knocked on doors to win support for ACC. An advocate of education, he also was principal at Mathews and Highland Park elementary schools and served on the Austin school board for 12 years.
