  • Why: ACC is addressing parking challenges resulting from regional bus route changes, record enrollment, and City of Austin parking restrictions on unpaved surfaces. Parking will no longer be available on any unpaved lots at Pinnacle Campus beginning September 26.

Parking is limited at all campuses. ACC encourages you to explore alternative transportation options.

We are aware of increased parking challenges at the Pinnacle Campus and are working diligently to provide some relief. A new paved parking lot has recently been constructed at the Pinnacle Campus. However, at the same time parking on unpaved surfaces must be restricted because of City of Austin regulations.

Beginning Tuesday, September 9, the college will offer free shuttle service to students, faculty, and staff at the Pinnacle Campus. The ACC shuttle will address increased parking challenges by operating on a continuous basis from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Thursday from

Burger Activity Center
3200 Jones Road
Austin, TX 78745

Map

Pickup and drop-off is approximately every 30 minutes beginning at 7:00 a.m.

The ACC Catalog, Student Handbook, website, and campus signage indicate that parking is limited and encourage students to consider alternative transportation. While the Pinnacle shuttle service will provide partial parking relief, spaces will remain limited. The college has developed a new website to provide updates and information on transportation alternatives.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we address parking challenges resulting from regional bus route changes combined with the college’s record enrollment this semester. As we continue to develop parking and transportation solutions, we will keep you informed of any changes.
