The Unity Jam Festival is coming to an ACC campus near you. The first event kicks-off Monday, September 22 at the South Austin Campus and continues through Wednesday, October 1.

Sponsored by Student Life, Unity Jam gives students exposure to the wide-range of ethnic backgrounds and diversity of ACC’s student base with a multicultural showcase of music, food, film, dance, fashion, and art.

“Unity Jam is a neat way to help students develop cultural understanding and explore the diversity at ACC,” says Toniette Haynes Robinson, Northridge Campus Student Life coordinator. “It’s a great learning opportunity, and it’s fun!”

This marks the first year each of ACC’s seven campuses will host individual activities for the Unity Jam Festival.

Activities at each campus begin at 11:30 a.m. and end at 1:30 p.m. Dates for each campus are listed below:

September 22 – South Austin
September 23 – Riverside
September 24 – Eastview
September 25 – Rio Grande
September 29 – Pinnacle
September 30 – Northridge
October 1 – Cypress Creek
