ACC opens Culinary Arts Bistro

Guests’ taste buds treated to an exquisite feast of fine foods

Austin, TX – The Austin Community College Bistro opens for lunch and dinner Thursday, October 9, and will continue on select Thursdays through November 20.

The Bistro is located at the Eastview Campus, 3401 Webberville Rd., Building 3000, Room 3158. Students from ACC’s Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, and Meeting and Event Planning programs will put their skills to work as they serve up a host of delicious lunch and dinner entrees.

The lunch series, Lé Bistrette, offers patrons quick service and regional American dishes, featuring tasty soups, salads, pastas, and sandwiches for dine-in or pickup.

For dinner, Bistro 3158 delivers a sophisticated dining experience and luxe menu celebrating rustic cuisine from across the globe. This year’s dinner series culminates with a mouthwatering, eight-course Italian Pilgrims Thanksgiving finale on November 20, sure to please even the most discerning palates. Below is this fall’s dinner schedule; menus are posted online: 

  • October 9:           Le Burgundians of France
  • October 16:         The Isans of Thailand
  • October 30:         The Kriols of Belize
  • November 6:       The Ashkenazi of Russia and Eastern Europe
  • November 13:     The Basques of Spain
  • November 20:     Italian Pilgrims Thanksgiving

Bistro 3158 guests are urged to make reservations at least 24 hours in advance either online or by phone at (512) 223.5334. Seating for dinner is 6-7:15 p.m. Reservations are not required for lunch, which is served 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
