Who: Satirist Neal Pollack

What: The former Austinite and author of “lternadad” will present a reading of his award-winning work. The event is free and open to the public.

Background: The author of four books, Pollack was named Hot Writer by Rolling Stone magazine in 2000. His most recent work, “Alternadad,” details Pollack’s early parenting attempts to be a cool father and raise a cool kid. Warner Bros. has purchased movie rights to the memoir.
