I am an ACC Student and I have had HELL with math all of my life.
I don’t have fear of math, I have MATH TERROR!
Anything that will help would be gratefully appreciated.
I really WOULD like to GRADUATE!
I wish they would e-mail me with the details because MATH KEPT ME FROM GRADUATING AND I HAD TO CHANGE MY MAJOR FOR THE LAST TIME. I MIGHT JUST HAVE TO GO AHEAD AND GRADUATE AND WRITE OFF MATH AS A LOST CAUSE!

I was just told on the phone that the Math workshops were cancelled. What the heck? All of the 3 hour workshops have been cancelled? I was also told that you cannot register for those over the phone, which is completely different from what the website (and the last post from Debbie) says. Are there other workshop courses that are available for math?

I showed up for the math workshop at the Pinnacle yesterday. There was a sign on the door that the class was cancelled. I called the phone # posted on the door and spoke with Mary Gilmer (2236325)she has me scheduled for a workshop this Friday (19th) at the Northrige campus 1-4 pm and June 25th 1-4 pm at the Pinnacle. I think it has to do with how many students are signing up for these classes????
