Fall 2009 Parking Information

Fall 2009 sees the opening of a new seven-story parking garage at the Rio Grande Campus, creating 543 additional spots.

In addition, ACC continues its shuttle service at the Pinnacle Campus to ease parking congestion there. As part of a long-term solution at Pinnacle, the college recently acquired 36.5 acres adjacent to campus and plans to build a new roadway into the property and construct a parking lot for 200 vehicles.

The best way to avoid parking problems is to employ alternative forms of transportation – efforts that will reduce ACC’s carbon footprint and promote the college’s sustainability goals. Consider taking the bus; Capital Metro also offers Park & Ride options. Every campus has bike racks, and ACC encourages carpooling. Plus, all campuses now include preferred parking spots for low-emission, fuel-efficient vehicles.

ACC parking permits may be purchased at the Cashier’s Office located on each campus. If you have any parking questions or concerns, contact your campus manager’s office or ACC Police.

Visit the ACC parking webpage for more information.
