2010 Annual Prof-Tech Appreciation Luncheon

All Exempt, Non-Faculty employees (Prof-Tech) are invited to the 2010 Annual Prof-Tech Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Norris Conference Center from 11:30 am to 1 pm. To save paper, you should have received an electronic Evite to the Luncheon, where you can RSVP and request a vegetarian option. Vegetarian options will be available if requested by February 17th.

Benefits

ERS Upgrade will cause downtime

ERS is upgrading the software used by ERS OnLine. You will not be able to access your account during the upgrade. The upgrade will not affect how you use the system.

The upgrade will take place over the Presidents’ Day weekend. The system downtime:

  • Starts at 5:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, February 11.
  • Ends at 7 a.m. CT on Tuesday, February 16.

You, your benefits coordinator, and ERS will not be able to make changes in the system during the downtime. If you are a new employee or you had a recent change in family status and need to change your benefits, enter your choices in the system by 5:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, February 11.

Freedom From Smoking 6 Week Program

Freedom From Smoking is a six-week program that will give you the tools you need to quit smoking for good. Each one-hour class is led by a trained facilitator in a small group setting, and you will receive a workbook and other informative materials along with free nicotine replacement therapies if you attend all six sessions. A few of the topics covered in the class include lifestyle changes that make quitting easier, managing stress, avoiding weight gain, and staying smoke-free for good. This class is available to ACC staff, spouses and ACC students (over the age of 18).

Fridays beginning on February 28th and ending April 16th 12:00 pm -1:00 pm HBC in room 214 (Space is limited)
