The Austin Community College District is now offering tuition payment plans for summer classes. Plan enrollment is now available and continues through June 3.
The system allows students to spread the cost of tuition and fees over the term, making a down payment of half the cost upon plan set-up, with the remainder due on or before July 2.
“This is one more way ACC is working to boost student success,” says Dr. Kathleen Christensen, vice president of student support and success systems. “Anything that makes it easier for students to enroll and complete their classes is valuable.”
The summer 2010 term begins June 1; registration is now under way for current and former students. New student registration begins Monday, May 3.
ACC first offered payment plans for fall and spring terms. Participation has grown from 697 students in fall 1997 to more than 10,000 students this spring. Fall and spring plans include a down payment and three additional payments. Because of the shorter nature of summer terms, those plans are comprised of two payments.
Students can register for plans through their campus cashier’s office or set up automatic payments online.

My son has signed up for his first summer session at ACC. Will we get a bill in the mail? If I have questions, is there a phone number for a person that we can talk to?

Hi Suzanne,
Tuition bills are not mailed. You can pay online or at a campus Cashier’s Office. The Student Recruitment Office can assist with more information – call (512) 223.7701.
