Learn to Live Green & Save Green at ACC Earth Day Fair on April 22

Learn how to do the most for the environment with the least impact on your wallet at ACC’s Earth Day Fair, which will be held on Thursday, April 22, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Eastview Campus (3401 Webberville Rd., Building 8000 Multipurpose Hall, room 8500).

The fair will feature ecological experts, environmental organizations, and eco-conscious businesses, with a theme of “Live Green, Save Green.”The keynote speaker is Travis County Commissioner Sarah Eckhardt. Other speakers include representatives from Austin Energy and Dr. George Staff, chair of ACC’s Environmental Science & Technology Department.

The event is free and open to the public.

ACC’s Earth Day Fair is presented by the Center for Student Political Studies, Students for Environmental Outreach, ACC’s Environmental Science & Technology and History departments, and the college’s Center for Public Policy and Political Studies.
