ACC’s Men of Distinction (MOD) will host an open house on Tuesday, April 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Highland Business Center. The MOD program is designed to support the recruitment, retention, and overall success of African-American males at ACC.

The open house will provide an overview of the program for students and their families, faculty, and staff. MOD will also honor individuals and community members who have supported the program during its first year of operations.

The event’s keynote speaker is Dr. Fred Bonner, associate professor of higher education administration and associate dean of faculties at Texas A&M University. Dr. Bonner’s research interests include academically gifted African-American males in higher education and high-achieving minorities in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Highland Business Center is located at 5930 Middle Fiskville Rd., and the open house will be held in Room 201. Refreshments will be served.
