Anita Brewer Howard
Anita Brewer Howard became Austin Community College’s first public affairs officer in 1973, but her life has been sprinkled with notable turns. On the eve of Howard’s retirement from ACC after 37 years, Austin-American Statesman reporter Michael Barnes featured Howard’s story, which included 12 years at the Statesman.
