The Foreign Languages Department has launched an updated website to provide valuable information and resources.
Prospective foreign language students can visit the new site to learn a little about the history and use of each of the eight languages offered through the department: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Latin, Russian, and Spanish. Students currently enrolled in a foreign language class can take advantage of extensive Internet resources linked in the site, including online learning, scholarly articles, and miscellaneous links such as finding a French pen-pal, listening to Japanese radio, or using an Arabic search engine.
The departmental website is an important resource for students, staff, and faculty who would like to research general academic policy pertaining to foreign language classes including information on prerequisites, credit by examination, transferability, different course options, and degree plans. Also featured is a Frequently Asked Foreign Language Questions page and readily available links to the ACC Course Catalog and Online Course Schedules.

I LOVE the new website! The pictures are outstanding. The expandable link at the bottom of each language explaining the history and usage of each is very interesting. Could ACC offer second-year Spanish in San Marcos if (when!) San Marcos CISD joins the ACC taxing district this fall? Gracias, merci beaucoup.
