ACC will open expanded parking at Pinnacle Campus August 23, the first day of fall classes. The new lot provides approximately 440 additional parking spots, for a total of close to 1,000 spaces at Pinnacle. The project team expects that will accommodate students, faculty, and staff even at peak times of the day. The lot features security cameras on light poles.
The Pinnacle project also includes a new avenue to enter/exit the campus. That driveway is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 290 and Convict Hill Road.
ACC acquired 36.5 acres adjacent to Pinnacle last year. The college expanded the scope of the project – original plans called for 200 new spaces – after enrollment spiked at the campus last fall.
“This project is one of many that will enhance quality of life for students, faculty, and staff,” says Bill Mullane, executive director of facilities and operations. “Our goal is always to make our campuses accessible, welcoming, and responsive to the needs of those who learn and work here.”

Now the building itself needs to be fixed, it feels muggy and depressing in the classrooms.

You’d just better be ready for the hike. It’s still a long way up that hill! IMHO a parking garage up closer would have been a better idea.
