YAK ‘N SACK DATE CHANGES

Due to external scheduling changes beyond our control, we have had to move the October 14th Yak ‘n Sack date at the Eastview Campus.  It is now scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 29th in Room 8125.

Additionally, the November 9th Yak ‘n Sack date at the Northridge Campus has been moved to Tuesday, November 30th at 12:00 noon in Room 3140.

TELEPHONE MOVES

IMPORTANT ALL PHONE MOVES must be done via request by ACCNet-Telecom.  This is done by contacting the ACC Helpdesk at 223-4357 (3-4357) or [email protected].

For all other types of telecom/cabling services, please contact either the ACC Helpdesk or use the ACCNet-Telecom online web request forms.  These forms are found at http://www.austincc.edu/telecom/forms/.

Failure to follow these procedures may result in emergency personnel (911) being routed to the wrong location.  If you already have moved your Cisco phone without contacting Telecom, please do so immediately so that the College’s systems can be updated.

ACC TELEPHONE DIRECTORY CHANGES

Please take a moment to review your online directory listing at: http://www5.austincc.edu/directory/

A department may update the following information via the Datatel “XOFF” screen:

  • Location:  Campus, Building and Room
  • Phone number
  • Fax number
  • Email address
  • Personal and/or Departmental web address
  • Nickname:  Listing will be displayed as FirstName (NickName) LastName

The Datatel XOFF screen is accessible to users who have received training.  Departments may designate and register their staff for online Datatel XOFF training at: https://www3.austincc.edu/it/workshops/www/login.php.

Title or Department Changes

Department and/or Title changes can be made by Human Resources. Corrections may be submitted by the employee’s immediate supervisor via email to Bobetta Burns at: [email protected].

Name Changes

All updates need to be entered by Wednesday, October 13, 2010.
