The first-ever White House Summit on Community Colleges convenes Tuesday, highlighting the key role community colleges play in developing the nation’s workforce and reaching educational objectives. The summit will focus on what community colleges can do to meet job training and educational needs and how they contribute to President Obama’s goal of leading the world in college graduates by 2020.

The summit will stream live at whitehouse.gov/live beginning at 11:15 a.m. CST. The closing session begins at 2 p.m.
