Essay Contest Gives Students Chance to Win $1,000; Submit by November 8

Have you had a great learning experience at ACC? You could win $1,000 for writing about it.

 The National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD), based at the University of Texas-Austin, is sponsoring an essay contest for community college students. NISOD asks students to describe their most rewarding learning experience with a faculty member, staff member, or administrator. Prizes include $1,000 for the winning student author along with $1,000 for the faculty, staff, or administrator featured in the essay.

The essay must be 400-500 words and submitted online by midnight on November 8.
