ACC students and staff are getting “Suited for Success” for a good cause. The college is hosting a fashion show fund-raiser Saturday, November 13, to benefit Pay it Forward Austin. Sponsored in part by ACC Community Outreach, “Suited for Success” will feature students, staff, and others dressed in business, business casual, and evening wear.

The event is 1-4 p.m. at Eastview Campus (3401 Webberville Rd., Building 8000). Tickets are $8 and may be purchased at the door. For more ticket information, please contact Mary Moran (854.6497) or De’borah Jones (223.7621).

Pay it Forward Austin provides support services to individuals with criminal histories who are searching for employment and working to improve their lives.

“Suited for Success” also will include a silent auction, refreshments, and performances.

The event is being held in conjunction with the Texas Association of Black Personnel in Higher Education, ACC’s African American Cultural Center, Travis County Justice Planning, and She Smiles Entertainment.
