The college’s IT systems will be offline from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday, January 27, to repair key equipment in the data center. This work will replace a faulty part on the data storage hardware that caused a system outage on January 18.

Systems that are affected include Datatel, Online Services, Blackboard, VPN access, and webmail. Email users who have migrated to Google Apps for ACC will not be affected.

Service to all IT systems will resume after midnight.

“Thank you very much for your patience during the repair process, and we apologize for any inconvenience,” says Stan Gunn, associate vice president of information technology. “We are hopeful the repairs will prevent recurrence of the recent system issues.”
