Update: Thursday, February 3, 6:45 p.m.

ACC is continuing to monitor the weather. Campuses and centers will be open Thursday evening on normal schedule, except for the Bastrop Center, which is closed Thursday night only.

At this time, ACC plans to operate all campuses and centers on a normal schedule Friday, February 4. The college will provide another update Friday at approximately 5 a.m.

Snow is expected to arrive later Thursday evening at approximately midnight. A light dusting of snow, possibly increasing up to one inch, is expected generally along the I-35 corridor and to the east. Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing or near freezing through Friday. Warmer temperatures are forecast for the weekend.

Austin Energy and the Electrical Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) report no blackouts or rolling outages planned for Friday. This situation could change; if so, ACC and other institutions may adjust their schedules depending upon the conditions.
