ACC students will face off with faculty members on the basketball court Friday, March 4, to raise money for scholarships.
The “Hoop It Up” event takes place at the Austin Recreation Center (1301 Shoal Creek Blvd.); game time is 7:30 p.m. Student admission is $5; general admission is $8. Tickets are available at all campus cashier offices or may be purchased at the game.
“ACC is more than just a job for us – we care about students and the college community,” says Scott Goyette, adjunct professor of management. “Holding a scholarship fundraiser is a great way to demonstrate that.”
 The event is sponsored by ACC’s Adjunct Faculty Association. The ACC Riverbat will make a guest appearance.

How may I get information on participating in this event? I am an ACC student and I would like to play against the faculty in other words, is it too late? how may I go about getting information in these regards?

We have had the teams set for a while with many on a waiting list, so unfortunately there is no room left. We do however hope you will attend the game and support your peers. It will be a lot of fun and it for a great cause…student scholarships.
