President’s Announcements

Converting to Gmail for ACC

By May 4, all ACC faculty and staff must make the conversion to Google Apps. More than half of all ACC employees have already made the change.  After May 4, IT will begin automatically changing employees over to Google Apps.  After that, email will no longer be delivered to the old email system.  Users will have to log in to Google Apps in order to receive new email.

This deadline is necessary because there are certain features of the new system we cannot implement until all employees have converted.  Please encourage faculty and staff in your area to make the transition as soon as possible.

Information Technology (IT) has set up a website to help convert to Google Apps and learn about the new features.  Visit the ACC Google Apps Website for a variety of information or go directly to the following websites:

For more information or questions, please contact Stan Gunn, Associate Vice President for Information Technology at 223-1200 or [email protected].
