Summer Registration Under Way for All Students

Austin Community College District summer semester registration is now open to new students. Current and former students started registering in April. The summer term begins Monday, May 23.

“Classes fill quickly, so students are encouraged to make their selections and get registered as soon as possible,” says Dr. Kathleen Christensen, vice president of student support and success systems. “For students who have not yet applied for admission, now is the time to get the process under way.”

Admissions information can be found at austincc.edu/apply. Students can view the summer schedule on the ACC website and then register online or via phone. ACC has a registration helpline to provide additional assistance; students can call (512) 223.4636.

Summer in-district tuition is $47 per credit hour. ACC offers payment plans that allow students to spread the cost of tuition and fees over the term. Summer students make a down payment of half the cost upon plan set-up, with the remainder due on or before June 24. Students can register for plans through their campus cashier’s office or set up automatic payments online.

“This is one more tool ACC uses to help students succeed,” says Dr. Christensen. “Payment plans give students flexibility and make college more accessible.”

Summer registration (for the 11-, 9-, and first 5 ½-week sessions) ends May 18. Registration for the second 5 ½-week session ends June 22. Fall registration begins May 16 for current and former students and June 13 for new students. More registration resources are available at austincc.edu/register.
