Google has rolled out a new calendar feature for faculty called “Appointment Slots.”

What does this mean for you? It means that you can define your office hours on your calendar as a recurring appointment, tell it what time increments you want to meet (i.e. 30 minutes), send the “share” link to your classes, and then students can book their own appointments. It’s a great way to empower your students and to plan ahead for your semester.
